College Bound

Two weeks ago we packed up Monster 1 and some of her stuff and sent her to college.

Greg and I went shopping and I sent her a text and said your are now the proud owner of your own Dirt Devil and coffee maker.

So we drove through one big city to the next.

Move in was great. We drove up the sidewalks, opened our doors and tons of people grabbed stuff.

Then we stood in line. Actually it didn't go too bad. I thought we would be there all day but NOT.. Thank God. Someone even came around with pop cycles and water. She looks like a bag lady with her car. It was a balancing act for sure. We saw one kid drop his microwave off his cart and we heard a couple crashes from the line. Home Sweet Home. I think the only smile we got that day. She was very stressed.

Then the fire hazard crept into my mind. Could these halls be any smaller. And for some reason this is the only pic I got of her room. I was too busy organizing, making beds and fighting the sweat in this little room. Tune in another day to check out their bathroom. ... yuck is all I have to say.
