My name is Cathy.. I have a crafting problem

 My craft room is such a mess right now I feel like a hoarder.

 These photos were rotated in my file. Can anyone give me advise on how to rotate them back..

Now that I have posted these I will have to clean it up to redeem myself from being a mess.

Catching up

A little few of my junk...

Tonight I took this Yuengling Beer carton and cut it up and hauled it to my craft room. I painted a page in my art journal, glued half of the carton in and covered it with mog podge.. Sorry my space button is sticking.. Check back later this week to see what I did with it.

The other night I was visiting Alisa Burke's blog and was inspired by her doodles. So I did a little copying and threw on some watercolors. Check hers out here...

She has some wonderful art and great ideas that I would never think of.. Enjoy.

My Paradise

My room as it is now... subject to change without notice... This is my craft table..

The green dresser and boxes on top are table setting junk, ribbon, gift wrapping stuff. The white dresser is Drake's baby nursery dresser. Now, it is the paper station. The paper cutter is in the drawer with all my 12x12 sheets.

This is Baxter's new hangout. Also my sewing table and will be used to wrap Christmas presents and do jigsaw puzzles on snow days.

Right now the wicker chair is there.. I have another plan for this room but enjoying it the way it is for a while before I move everything. Extra chair for visisting guests.

More to come.. I am in heaven.

Another Target Haul

Okay... What I will do with these school room borders.. I have NO clue but for $.62 I will stash them.. maybe one day I will have a little playroom for the grandkids...

I bought these Thanksgiving- Turkey foam boards for Thanksgiving day.. the kids will set and be crafty once in a while. Great craft for $3.00

And I bought my new craft room a fun colored clock. Oh I am junky this room up like nobody's business... Shabby Chic..trailor trash..ghetto.. I got it..

I bought a big jar of bling and then put it in a big Mason jar. I love Mason Jars.

I got this cake stand for 80% off. Originally 27.99..paid like 6.80.. yahooo.

I picked up this material and cut the end..Waaaalaaaa... a scarf.

For years I have blogged from our den or G's office downstairs in the front of the house. This last week I moved up...

Oh let me break out in song..

(I'm movin on up...to the top.. to a DEluxe apartment in the sky)

or more like Drake's bedroom in the back of the house.

He moved to our "green" room in the basement,

which was my craft room.

I never went down there cause it was in the back of the basement,

dark, no windows, out of the loop.

Which at 17 is exactly what a boy wants.

Now I have two big windows to look out of and watch the snow fall, the rain drop and the sun shine.

So I have been working on this room. I have everything organized. I have no intentions of re-doing it, buying new furniture or anything fancy but it's still mine and everything I do is in this ONE room.

I used to see some craft on the web..

run to the craft room,

drag it to the kitchen or dining room

where it would set for a bit til I took it back downstairs.

Now I find a craft. Turn around to my work table, grab what I need and done. I will try to get some pics. I do want to paint the room first considering Drake had dark mustard brown walls with skateboard symbols all over. I want to girl it up a little bit. I can't wait to have a place to wrap christmas presents and keep the mess out of the rest of the house.

G also has his room back and I can just shut the door and not see his mess..... I mean organized files..

Well, I have to run.. I smell my soup beans cooking.. time to make some sweet corn bread.
