Wedding Journal

The last few weeks my mom has been helping a friend make

 wedding favors for another friend's wedding. I have heard about this project for a while, when she calls and says that Jody would like me to make a wedding journal for a shower gift.  Now, I have no idea when this wedding is scheduled and sad to say but neither does my mom. So, I panic... and I scrambled to throw together a book. Here is my video and end result.

Jody loved it... I hope the bride likes it too.

2013 Journal Title Page

Better late than never.. I made a title page for my journal that I started yesterday. I'm kind of following the Project Life idea but not. I have tried several different kinds of journals and I do like the little "pages". It's not so overwhelming like doing a whole page. I can throw some 2.5 x 3.5 pieces in my purse and take them with me where ever I go and do them on the run. While we are waiting for an oil change, eating dinner, riding in the car etc..

 My craft room is such a mess right now I feel like a hoarder.

 These photos were rotated in my file. Can anyone give me advise on how to rotate them back..

Now that I have posted these I will have to clean it up to redeem myself from being a mess.

Catching up

A little few of my junk...

Tonight I took this Yuengling Beer carton and cut it up and hauled it to my craft room. I painted a page in my art journal, glued half of the carton in and covered it with mog podge.. Sorry my space button is sticking.. Check back later this week to see what I did with it.

The other night I was visiting Alisa Burke's blog and was inspired by her doodles. So I did a little copying and threw on some watercolors. Check hers out here...

She has some wonderful art and great ideas that I would never think of.. Enjoy.

Monster 3 and BLing

Monster 3 couldn't resist the new bling.

She added bling and glitter. We are a glitter family..

Now she has a new daily planner with some sparkle.

I also found some eyes buttons at the Target Dollar Spot. I needed them during Halloween.. Next year...

T-Shirt Pillows

Two of Drake's favorite shirts.. Since he is over 6 foot now and he wore them in the 5th grade I figured I needed to do something with them.

Pillows. He can throw them in the car on race day or take them on the plane with him for practice.

Last year he held his cookies the whole way home on the little plane that was getting tossed around during a snow storm. He covered his head and swallowed hard the whole way. Maybe a comfy pillow would have made it better. Wishful thinking..I know...

I found these letters. They didn't have all the kids names so but they did have mine.. yeah.. something for my craft room.

Baxter and I sat one night after work and blinged them out.

Baxter is a master crafter. He got done before I did. Nap Time..

Hobby Lobby Haul

I bought a big jar of bling and then put it in a big Mason jar. I love Mason Jars.

I got this cake stand for 80% off. Originally 27.99..paid like 6.80.. yahooo.

I picked up this material and cut the end..Waaaalaaaa... a scarf.
